Transferring Devices
- Step 1 - Select “Distributor Tools” from the menu at the top right of your screen
- Step 2 - Select Transfer devices
- Step 3
- Existing Customer -- Select this option if the customer is already connected to your account
- New Customer -- Select this option if the customer either doesn't have an Altrac account or you've never transferred devices to them in the past. Skip down to the bottom to follow steps for New Customer
- Step 4 - In the dropdown Select the customer you would like to transfer devices too.
- Step 5 - On the next screen Select the group you want to transfer from.
- Step 6 - Select the Group you would like to transfer too
- Step 7 - You should see the devices listen below in tiles, Click individual/multiple devices you would like to transfer.
- Step 8 - On the next screen you will see all options you have selected and a button to confirm your transfer. Follow the next few windows and your transfer will be finished, if any issues have been found you will receive an error message.
Creating a new customer
- Step 1 - Select “Distributor Tools” from the menu
- Step 2 - Select Transfer devices
- Step 3 - Select New Customer
- Step 4 - Here you will enter the email address of the customer you’re creating or may be associated with the customer you're looking for
- Step 5 - On this next step you will see a dropdown with all customers associated to that email address, if the customer you’re trying to transfer devices to is listed select it, if not select create new .
- Step 6 - if creating a new customer enter the name of the new customer in the text input provided below if not select next.
- Step 7 - Follow the Existing customer process starting at Step 4.
