Deutsch/Amphenol Connectors and Crimping

Altrac uses 12, 6, and 3 pin Deutsch/Amphenol connectors. You'll find these on many of our harnesses, especially in the wind machine product segment.

Crimping Tool Setup

Contact Size: 16

You will need to rotate the die to match size 16 contacts. Instructions in video below.

Wire Size: 18-20 AWG (Standard sizes for most Altrac equipment)

You will need to adjust the wire size selector to match the wire size you are crimping the pin onto.
